Working with StudioBlue and Oregon Music News

While Tom D’Antoni of Oregon Music News (OMN) has been recovering from some health issues, he has asked Studio Blue Productions to help him produce content, including interviews for his ongoing Coffeeshop Conversations, which have for years been produced by him at Artichoke Music, a music- and education-focused non-profit in Portland, Oregon.

Studio Blue helps OMN by offering its facilities to interviewees, who connect at our studio via Internet to Tom’s home. OMN can also connect remote interviewees who have a good microphone and headphones. To do this, we use CleanFeed.net.

For interviewees

Confirm with Tom whether you’ll be interviewed on premises at Studio Blue or remotely at your own location.

If you are going to be interviewed on premises, email Studio Blue for a map to our location, which also guides you on the most convenient parking location (we have a reserved space for the interviewee).

If you are going to be interviewed remotely at your own location, you can prepare for the interview technically by reviewing this help file from CleanFeed.net. You will be using the Google Chrome browser, which you should have downloaded and installed on your computer before following CleanFeed’s recommendations. Luckily, the steps involved are simple! Still, give it some attention perhaps the day before the interview in case you have questions.

If you have used a quality microphone and headphones on your computer before, these instructions may be enough:
